What’s Your Favorite U.S. National Park?

I have a problem: What is your favourite U.S. Nationwide Park?

Around the previous two years, I have fallen in enjoy with them.

Just before the pandemic, I experienced only visited a handful of them, mainly by accident. But the moment the pandemic hit, and it was harmless enough to highway-journey, I drove all all over the country traveling to them.

Now I’ve observed 15 out of 63. And sometime, I’d like to see them all.

Initially, there was Redwood Nationwide Park, with its towering trees and black-sand beaches…

Then Indiana Dunes, with its sprawling views of nuclear reactors…

Then Utah, residence to some of the ideal nationwide parks in the nation: I visited Capitol Reef, Bryce Canyon, and Zion.

Just after Utah, I frequented Mammoth Cave (Kentucky) and Hot Springs (Arkansas), on the way to Austin, which is the place I are living now.

Then there was Big Bend, Texas. The night time sky is incredible there! You can see so numerous stars.

Followed by Petrified Forest in New Mexico…

And most recently, Glacier (Montana) and Grand Teton (Wyoming). Glacier Countrywide Park reminded me of Switzerland with its alpine valleys, purple wildflowers, and jagged mountains. I even saw mountain goats.

I experience so blessed that I’ve gotten to see so much of our wonderful region in the past couple decades.

When I was more youthful, I targeted solely on worldwide travel (this web site is not known as Ashley Abroad for nothin’). But in excess of the past two yrs, I’m happy to report that I have acquired a newfound appreciation for my personal backyard.

It turns out you don’t have to fly midway all-around the planet to go on an experience.

As for my favorite? It’s a two-way tie in between Redwood and Big Bend.
