KC Hoppe Leaves Backroads Alicia Kjeldgaard to Deal with Agency Program

In a letter sent to Luxurious Travel Advisor, Backroads founder and president Tom Hale has declared that KC Hoppe has left the company after virtually 20 years. In her absence, Alicia Kjeldgaard will be managing the company’s journey company method and small business development from its Berkeley, CA business office.

“KC has impacted the life of numerous of us here in the Berkeley workplace and around the planet, and her name is woven into the cloth of the travel marketplace much over and above Backroads,” said Hale in the letter. “It’s challenging to visualize how we could have made it by the travails of the past 12 months with out KC’s tireless attempts, and her positivity and warmth will really be skipped. Hoppe started out with the organization in 2013 as the director of travel market relations, right before moving to roles as the visitor products and services manager and then as assistant director of revenue.
