Google Maps people preparing on running some Friday afternoon errands are hitting a minor bit of a snag these days, as a company disruption appears to be resulting in numerous difficulties with Maps in regions all about the world.

Reports on Down Detector commenced spiking a couple several hours back, and our screening confirms troubles accessing Google Maps the two on the desktop and via the Android app. Whilst the maps on their own ordinarily load at some point (despite the fact that we have witnessed some tiny delays there), looking for addresses and points of curiosity tends to hold, and data cards are just getting without end to load.

Responses from afflicted buyers recommend this disruption is world in scale, and we have independently confirmed issues across continents. So much we have but to see any Google reaction to the outage, but will update our coverage as this tale develops.
