The new Costco warehouse in Oshawa is now open.
It’s the 2nd warehouse in the metropolis and it’s situated at 100 Windfields Farm Generate East.
The new retail store has established 185 new part-time and seasonal jobs
“With the opening of this new warehouse, we can provide all of our customers in the Oshawa and surrounding spot and can convey new shoppers and companies to uncover the benefits of a Costco membership,” said Gino Dorico, Senior Vice-President and State Supervisor, Costco Wholesale Canada. “We are really happy to share this new area with our valued members and member companies in the community community and throughout the place.”
“We are thrilled about the opening of a second Costco Wholesale in north Oshawa,” said Oshawa Mayor Dan Carter. “The new warehouse has established beneficial employment prospects for the location, and will fortify the community economic climate by offering a broader choice of goods and companies to our people and website visitors.”
The new warehouse is a lot more than 161,000 square ft and features large aisles and an extensive choice of foods offerings along with a wide range of specialty departments.
There’s also an optical centre, a listening to aid centre, five tire centre bays, a massive food stuff courtroom, a gasoline station with 24 pumps, a propane station and a big pharmacy.
